The front nine ends with a very difficult par four. The tee shot has plenty of room for you to go for a big drive, but beware of the fairway bunkers on each side and a group of pine trees that protects the right side landing area. The second shot is where the hole begins to bare its teeth. The green is a severely sloping green with a dangerous false front, and a bunker guarding the left side. Balls hit to the right or long will finish well away from the putting surface. Once on the green, you face everything from subtle breaks on the back of the green to big sideways swinging benders on the front half. Par here is a great score and is truly earned. |
